The MXR Micro Flanger pedal is a compact and versatile flanger effect pedal that draws inspiration from the benchmark sounds of the MXR M117 Flanger. While it retains many of the same flanging effects as its larger counterpart, it offers a more convenient and portable size.

Originally introduced in the 1980s, this faithful recreation retains the essential controls of the M117, including a Speed knob to control the rate of flanging and a Regeneration knob to manage the overall intensity.

The Micro Flanger maintains its commitment to 100% analog bucket brigade technology, delivering a warm and organic tone. An updated true bypass switch ensures that no tone is compromised during the effect’s bypass mode. 

Unlike its larger counterpart, the Micro Flanger features a simplified interface with only two controls: Speed and Regeneration. This streamlined design allows for intuitive control and easy experimentation with various flanging effects.

The Micro Flanger delivers the same sonic textures and tones as the M117 but with a more user-friendly interface. It enables users to dial in warm and thick flanging effects, creating massive sonic “swooshes” with ease. The combination of two control knobs and all-analog circuitry with bucket brigade technology ensures a consistent and authentic analog tone.
